The Rotary Club of Bonny Island implemented a Basic Education & Literacy Support project at St. Patrick Anglican Model Secondary School to strengthen the community’s capacity to support education, promote literacy, reduce gender disparities, and enhance lifelong learning. The initiative aligns with the school’s mission of nurturing students in the fear of God, fostering self-reliance, and equipping them with knowledge and skills, while supporting its vision of achieving excellence in academics, sports, and culture. As part of this initiative, 90 dozens of exercise books along with pens, pencils, and erasers were distributed to all students and staff, providing critical learning materials to support classroom activities and homework.
