Rotary Family Health Day
Accessible preventive and basic healthcare for families, with screening, health education, early detection, and referral support in Finima.
The project story
From a local need to shared action.
Rotary Family Health Day brought preventive and basic healthcare closer to women, children, older people, and other vulnerable residents at the Finima health centre. The outreach combined general consultations with blood-pressure and blood-sugar checks, malaria screening and awareness, maternal and child health education, reproductive-health information, nutrition guidance, dental awareness, and hygiene education. The programme supported earlier detection of health concerns, appropriate referrals, and practical knowledge that families can continue to use after the event.
