To commemorate World Peace Day 2025, the CHOPs Fellowship, in partnership with RC Bonny Island and 27 Rotary Clubs, carried out an Avocado Peace Tree planting exercise. This symbolic activity highlighted the shared commitment to promoting peace, unity, and environmental stewardship within the community. The Avocado Peace Tree represents growth, harmony, and the hope for a peaceful future. Through this initiative, participants reinforced the message that peace thrives in environments where people work together to protect nature and support sustainable development. The event also encouraged community involvement and underscored Rotary’s dedication to environmental preservation as a pathway to lasting peace.
